Brackets for lighting system

Together with SafeExit A/S, Gottlieb Paludan Architects (GPA) developed stainless steel brackets for Norka’s tubular luminaires.

As the existing brackets for Norka’s tubular luminaires did not meet GPA’s high aesthetic and functional demands, GPA decided to develop new ones.

The new brackets enable Norka’s ZUG and BERN luminaires to be combined in linear lighting solutions with a smooth transition between the luminaires.
The luminaire brackets are available in two versions; an end cap, and a centre piece that joins the luminaires and conceals the through wiring.
The brackets are made in sandblasted stainless steel which interacts beautifully with the matte surface of the luminaire. The material is as thin as possible to conform to the style of the luminaire.
The material is also maintenance-free and durable so it can withstand vandalism, etc.
The flexible luminaire bracket can be mounted on both walls and ceilings. It is easy to disassemble, as the base plate is fixed to the wall while adjustment screws enable slight local adjustments.

Norka produces and distributes the architect-designed bracket which is used in public areas such as stations all over the world.
