GPA selected for round 2 in Copenhagen powerplant competition

Gottlieb Paludan Architects have been announced as one of the three winners of stage one in the two-stage architectural competition for design and masterpalan for HOFOR’s new biomass combined-heat and power plant in Copenhagen.

The proposal, which has been developed in collaboration with landscape architects Møller & Grønborg and lighting specialists Speirs + Major, is commented by the jury for its 'poetry and beauty', its 'coherent and robust' masterplan and the 'innovative concept for public interaction'. The proposal will now be further developed in collaboration with HOFOR and in competition with proposals from KHR and 3XN.
