Gottlieb Paludan Architects appoints new Chief Operating Officer

03.05.2021

Clement Bue Maali has joined Gottlieb Paludan Architects as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will be responsible for the day-to-day management and for ensuring the quality and progress of the company’s projects. Clement will become a member of a reinvigorated management team at Gottlieb Paludan Architects, which also includes two newly appointed Creative Directors and a new CEO, soon to join the team.

Clement Bue Maali graduated from Aalborg University with a MSc in Engineering, specialising in Management and Technology. He has over ten years of experience in the architecture industry and joins GPA from a position as Process and Quality Manager with Cobe, where his responsibilities included quality management, organising projecting processes and digitisation.

As COO and day-to-day manager of Gottlieb Paludan Architects, Clement will have the overall responsibility for the quality and progress of the company’s projects, and he will head the development and implementation of innovative concepts, products and IT systems.

Clement’s appointment takes place amid a fresh look at the organisation and management structure as well as an increased focus on international markets, changes which Gottlieb Paludan Architects announced towards the end of 2020. The organisational changes also include the appointments of Tine Kjærulff Bay and Thomas Bonde-Hansen as new Creative Directors and the appointment of a new CEO – Mette Lyng Hansen – who will join the company in June, at the office in Nordhavn.

In collaboration with the new management team, Clement will be tasked with developing and strengthening the company’s organisation, supporting the new management structure and contributing to the continued international growth of Gottlieb Paludan Architects.
