Ankestyrelsen (Danish Appeals Authority)
Gottlieb Paludan Architects provided tenant consultancy during the relocation of Ankestyrelsen from three locations to one common address.
Gottlieb Paludan Architects (GPA) primarily assisted in the process of choosing a new domicile, which included calculating spatial needs and conducting studies of spatial conditions and possibilities for up-to-date ventilation and other technical systems. Once the decision was made, GPA provided follow-up advice concerning spatial needs, process planning, lease agreements, etc.
GPA has also facilitated a user-involvement process as part of the specification of requirements for the new headquarters on Teglholmsgade in Copenhagen’s Sydhavn district. This process included series of meetings, workshops, study trips, etc., to collect and coordinate input from the different departments of Ankestyrelsen.
In addition, GPA drew up seating plans based on the professional relationships between departments, as well as an interior design and furnishing project which included advice concerning the safeguarding of existing inventory, preparing a colour scheme for the building and the purchase of new furnishing.
